Welcome to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Virginia, where every area’s themed to a different European country.

In 1997 someone had a mild stroke of genius theming an inverted coaster to the German word for Alpine Ghoul, immediately creating something with a bit of mistique.

But then they went hard as hell with the ride, too. But who cares about the world’s best cobra roll or whatever, here’s a collection of the silly dudes inhabiting the area. Lovely detail in this park all around but this ride is extra special for keeping that trend while being such an intense ride.

The implications of this guy are hilarious, I wish more rides played with the idea of being actually dangerous. Heard Universal had to remove some of that from Monsters Unchained.
